Benjamin Moore - Time to Move On!
I've used Benjamin Moore interior/exterior for years, paid the price and was always satisfied. Now in 2017 both interior Bath & Spa and exterior Revive for vinyl have disappointed me in the extreme.
First, the interior Bath & Spa took two coats with a third for some touch up as I kept getting bleeding. Mind you I was painting over white with a light yellow. Brush & Roller were used. Premium rollers, Wooster Pro brushes.
Outside, a huge project painting a ranch with old vinyl siding. YES, I thoroughly cleaned the exterior and ensured it was clean before starting. Weather was mixed but always dry, I stayed in the shade and avoided extreme heat. As temperatures cooled, my comfort level got better but the results were the same.
Two coats and I'm seeing some bleeding using Weston Flax over a pale green. A 3rd light coat will be necessary and I'm thinking of finishing up in the Spring.
I will stick with Moore since I've got the color and paint but never again. Extremely disappointed in the results.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $500.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
Benjamin Moore Cons: Covering quality for spa and bath, Covering quality of revive.
