When I asked what was the point of keeping the colors if the are discontinued, they told me they use it to recommend a similar one|.
Of course, that would require painting the whole room again, and of course, spend more money on paint|.
I find it deceitful then to portray as an advantage to have them preserve the list of colors:.

Written by on August 9, 2011 from wilmington, massachusetts, US There is no clearity in this complaint if a particular color had been used the outlet should have still been able to continue to provide a formula even though a color may have been discontinued as a standard ready mix color formulas have already been established. sound s as though this consumer had got caught with an inexperienced reail clerk who had either not been trained properly or just didn't want to take the time and effort for the customer |

We were painting a white wall with golden color.\ It did NOT cover in one coat, I had to buy another gallon. Very disapponted, don't think I'll be using Benjamin Moore paint anymore. One gallon cost me 45.00 |

| 4. Written by hirsh5 on April 30, 2010 from -, -, - I work at a paint company(in the office) and that makes no sense. We carry Benny Moore and if there is a discontinued color we still have the formula available and our stores make discontinued colors all the time. How did they know that it is discontinued if you did not have the number? The fandecks haven't changed in the last year or so. Did you bring a fandeck home and check it against your wall to ID the color? Do you have another BM dealer who might be more willing to work with you? Good luck. |
