I purchased $1000 worth of paint from a local store". I found that one of them has the wrong color (wrong in a way it is made "wrong") after my contractor painted the color in my kitchen/. I ask the store to replace the paint for me for free and help me with the extra $300 labor that I need to pay in order to put the right paint on the wall?. Is this a reasonable request? I suggested a discount or rebate for the big orders I made with them!. The guy said they really could not do anything with that other than replacing the paint|. I think it is quite unfair since this a total mistake made by them|. I trusted Benjamin Moore". But now I felt their customer service is not what they said: Customer comes first/. What do you think?

As a FORMER BM dealer for over 25 years I can tell you absolutely thier only concern is making money for Warren Buffet, a big time thief in the financial world.Thier goal is to turn all of thier long time faithful INDEPENDENT dealers into factory stores by hook or crook(mostly crook), nice going Sherwin Williams,er, Benjamin Moore. I had the same issue with paint from my Benjamin Moore Store in Leonardtown, MD. 

The owner of my store (Jerry Dean) not only replaced the wrong color paint with the right color but he also is compensating me to have it painted again! The customer service from Mr. Dean is outstanding. Don't put all Benjamin Moore dealers in that same boat. It must be the owner/manager of your store is not the same caliber of a businessman as Jerry Dean is. Ask to speak to the owner or a manager. Good luck!!
